Exhaust tips often use fixed clamps, so the inlet size must match the actual pipe size. A tip that is 0.25 in. too big can work with a clamp but may need a shim; a tip that is too small won’t go on at all. My experience here is limited to dimensional review, not exhaust fabrication, so confirm custom work with a shop.

Why is the cheapest Pyle option not always the cheapest?

I use total-cost thinking on every purchase I review. The total cost isn’t the price on the purchase order. It’s:
